July 23, 2012

Rock Vegas powered by Rockstar Energy Drink — Sin City's Loudest Two-Day Rock Music Festival — is set for two sin-filled days, Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The two-day rockextravaganza will feature performances from ROB ZOMBIE, SHINEDOWN, MARILYN MANSON, and GODSMACK, plus STAIND, STONE SOUR, PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY, ADELITAS WAY, ALL THAT REMAINS, P.O.D., ART OF DYING, REDLIGHT KING, NEW MEDICINE, DEUCE, OTHERWISE and more. Tickets are affordably priced as low as $39 each, plus fees. Two-day and single-day tickets go on sale Saturday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. VIP packages will also be available.

GODSMACK's Shannon Larkin says, "The lineup is incredible for any rock fan, and the stage and sound system will be massive! Add to that the location, Las Vegas... What more could you ask for! This is gonna be HUGE! Get your party boots on and come to the biggest spectacle in the country! You won't regret it. Vegas, baby!!!"

Rock Vegas will bring some of the hottest heavy bands to rock Vegas for this two-day bash. The festival producers chose Las Vegas for the event because it's a short drive for rock fans from many areas of Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah — and Vegas is the perfect party place for a weekend getaway for rock fans from around the country.

"Since Las Vegas is the capital of live entertainment, I can't think of a better place to stage a massive show like Rock Vegas," says Rich Best, Executive Vice President of Booking for Live Nation/Southern California. "You've got two of rock's greatest showmen in ROB ZOMBIE and MARILYN MANSON, pared with the killer anthems of GODSMACK and SHINEDOWN and so much more. Plus, Sin City's glitz and glamour makes Rock Vegas the perfect destination event for fans across the country."

"We're excited to host the first annual Rock Vegas at Mandalay Bay," says Chris Baldizan, Executive Vice President of Entertainment for Mandalay Bay. "We have one of the premier event spaces in Las Vegas and feel it will be the perfect fit for what we expect will become a perennial tradition."

Rock Vegas powered by Rockstar Energy Drink is produced by John Reese, John Oakes and CAA in conjunction with Live Nation.
