ROB ZOMBIE Guitarist JOHN 5 To Headline NAMMJAM 2016

January 17, 2016

Former MARILYN MANSON and current ROB ZOMBIE guitarist John 5 (real name: John William Lowery) and his backing band THE CREATURES — drummer Rodger Carter and bassist Ian Ross — will headline the NAMMJAM 2016 on Friday, January 22 at the City National Grove Of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. Also scheduled to appear are BEASTO BLANCO, the band led by ALICE COOPER bassist Chuck Garric; '80s hard rockers L.A. GUNS; and legendary guitarist Danny B. Harvey (HEADCAT, THE 69 CATS).

Produced and presented by Delve Texas, the seventh annual NAMMJAM 2016 will again have a charitable element with proceeds benefiting the House Of Blues Music Forward Foundation. A "live," silent auction will be held during the evening and will feature an array of items such as music memorabilia, VIP experiences, unique collectibles, autographed guitars, music instruments, original art pieces and much more, all donated by music industry notables. Your support of NAMMJAM 2016 and the silent auction contributes much-needed funds to continue and expand the works of House Of Blues Music Forward Foundation, a charitable foundation.

John 5 celebrated 11 years of solo work with a "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" album. The set includes a live DVD, featuring footage of John 5 in concert. John 5 also released three brand new singles, the first of which came out in October.

John 5 in November completed the "Mad Monster Tour" featuring his band JOHN 5 AND THE CREATURES. Select dates also featured former MISFITS member Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein and his band DOYLE. JOHN 5 AND THE CREATURES kicked off the tour with a special show in Ramona, California on November 4.

JOHN 5 & THE CREATURES toured in support of John 5's eighth solo album, "Careful With That Axe", which was made available in August 2014 through 60 Cycle Hum. The effort features Rodger Carter on drums and Matt Bissonette on bass.
