ROB ZOMBIE Guitarist JOHN 5 Says His Upcoming Pay-Per-View Concert Will Be 'Cool'

September 17, 2014

On October 18, former MARILYN MANSON and current ROB ZOMBIE guitarist John 5 will play his first-ever solo concert, bringing his twisted musical visions to life as he performs songs spanning his entire solo career including, live tracks from his new studio album, "Careful With That Axe", released this past August through 60 Cycle Hum. The event will be hosted by Chris Broderick of MEGADETH and will see John 5 backed by THE CREATURES consisting of Rodger Carter (drums) and Larry "Bones" Dennison (bass; DIO, TONY MACALPINE, LITA FORD). This live online experience allows the audience personal time with John 5 in an in-depth question-and-answer session in real time, which Broderick will moderate. The audience will also have a chance to win unique giveaways throughout the show for the Top 13 supporters, including a signed John 5 Squire Telecaster, several signed BOSS pedals and other cool signed gifts.

This event will be broadcast online only, on October 18, 2014, across three time zones; The Americas at 7:00 p.m. (PST); Europe at 7:00 p.m. (BST); and the Pacific Rim at 7:00 p.m. (HKT). This pay-per-view event goes on sale September 18. This will not be archived for later viewing, so get your tickets before it sells out. Details can be found at www.john-5.com.

Speaking to Rock Hard Live at this past weekend's Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California, John 5 said (see video below): "I'm gonna do three concerts 'cause of three different time zones — one for America and Canada, one for Europe and one for Japan and Australia. It's totally live and you can ask questions. It's gonna be kind of set up like 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno', but with a lot of music. Actually, the guys that are putting it on worked on 'The Tonight Show' the whole time and the Johnny Carson show. So it's funny. It's gonna be cool."
