ROB ZOMBIE Goes 'Wylde' At South Dakota's Full Throttle

August 11, 2005

Ryan Woodard of South Dakota's The Black Hills Pioneer is reporting that BLACK LABEL SOCIETY mainman Zakk Wylde joined ROB ZOMBIE on stage during the singer's headlining set at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, South Dakota Monday night (August 8). "Wylde didn't play guitar on the stage, and seemed to be up there for the main purpose of drinking beer, one of which he tossed into the crowd after taking a couple gulps," Woodard writes. "Wylde apparently had traveled to Sturgis with Zombie, since both performers will be playing at the metal festival Ozzfest later this month.

"Wylde did have another duty, which was to help Zombie get girls to come up on the stage and dance at the end of the concert. He must have done a good job, since by the last song, the stage was full, as Zombie offered the girls this encouragement, 'Those of you who want to stand up here and wave at your friends can go sit down. We want to see the girls do what they came up here to do.'

"As far as what the girls went up there to do, I'll let you use your imagination."
