RIOT Mainman Resurrects 'Thundersteel' Lineup

RIOT mainman/guitarist Mark Reale has issued the following update:

"I'm in the process of working with all the members from the original 1988 lineup (Reale, singer Tony Moore, bassist Don Van Staven and drummer Bobby Jarzombek) and have begun writing material for a new record with them. Although some members do have prior commitments, hopefully the new record will be released in the late fall of 2008."

RIOT's latest CD, "Army of One", was released in in Japan on July 17, 2006 via the Toshiba-EMI label. The CD came out in Europe in October 2006 via Metal Heaven.

RIOT's most recent touring lineup included singer Mike Tirelli (MESSIAH'S KISS, HOLY MOTHER, BURNING STARR), who replaced Mike DiMeo due to DiMeo's commitments with MASTERPLAN and THE LIZARDS (also featuring drummer Bobby Rondinelli of BLUE YSTER CULT/BLACK SABBATH/RAINBOW fame).
