Cleveland-based metal/hardcore band RINGWORM has posted its video for the song "The Ninth Circle" on YouTube. Watch the clip below.
"The Ninth Circle" comes off RINGWORM's new LP, "The Ninth Circle: The Venomous Grand Design", which was released on August 21 via Victory. The CD was recorded with Ben Schigel (CHIMAIRA, WALLS OF JERICHO) at Spider Studios. The disc is the group's fourth in a 17-year career, arriving after 2005's "Justice Replaced by Revenge", which cemented the band's status in international hardcore and metal circles.
"The new album shreds, period," frontman James "The Human Furnace" Bulloch told the Cleveland Scene. "It's pissed, for sure. Fast, ripping guitars. A lot more thrash-metal influence on this one. Imagine VOIVOD, EXODUS, KREATOR, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, D.R.I., SODOM, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and SLAYER all puking in same toilet, or something like that."
As previously reported, RINGWORM has been added to the Persistence Tour 2007, which is set to kick off November 29 in Wiesbaden, Germany. The lineup for the trek is now as follows:
