Swedish metallers REVENGIA have issued the following update:
"REVENGIA is in writing mode for the third, yet unnamed, record. So far 11 songs are written and one more is on it's way. The songs are heavy, fast, doomy and melodic, just as usual in REVENGIA-land! Tobbe [Gustafsson] is doing a hell of a job on the vocals, as well on the lyrics. Conny [Pettersson] is adding some over the top drumming to the sound. So it will sound a little bit different, in a good way, but you will for sure recognize the sound.
"This time around we will put some extra time in arranging the songs before the start of recording."
REVENGIA last year parted ways with vocalist Andreas Tomasson and replaced him with Tobias Gustafsson (EUCHARIST, THE END, ARMAGEDDON, ETERNAL LIES).
The band's latest album, "Eraser", was released in Japan on November 21, 2007 via Soundholic Records.
REVENGIA in 2007 split with ARCH ENEMY drummer Daniel Erlandsson due to scheduling conflicts. He has since been replaced by Conny Pettersson (ANATA, TRENDKILL, ETERNAL LIES).
