Tampa death metallers and former Nuclear Blast recording artists RESURRECTION, who had moderate success with their debut album "Embalmed Existence" (1993), have been confirmed for the Gathering of the Bestial Legion Festival III, set to take place August 19, 2007 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood California. The all-ages event will feature three stages and 20-plus bands. Other national acts will be confirmed shortly. This will be one of RESURRECTION's only North American festival appearances this year. RESURRECTION also has dates in Tampa and Miami in July.

In other news, RESURRECTION's recently recorded four-song EP is currently being mixed by guitarist-turned-producer James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY). The disc will be used for promotion purposes only.

RESURRECTION recently announced the addition of guitar player Jerry Mortellaro (DIABOLIC, UNHOLY GHOST) to the group's ranks.
