RESPONSE NEGATIVE To Open For EXODUS In Florida

April 18, 2004

RESPONSE NEGATIVE, the Florida-based death/thrash metal band featuring former OVERKILL/GRIP INC. guitarist Bobby Gustafson, will be opening for EXODUS at The Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday, April 28. Also set to appear are SAQ and KRYPTIC KURSE.

In other news, RESPONSE NEGATIVE's music will be featured on the upcoming "Get Thrashed" soundtrack, the documentary profiling the thrash metal scene of the early Eighties and its impact on the music scene. For more information, click here.

Also on the RESPONSE NEGATIVE front, Gustafson has issued a statement on the group's web site regarding his exclusion from Guitar World's list of top 100 greatest heavy metal guitarists of all time. Says Bobby, "I must give a heartfelt and sincere thank you to Mark Dykstra and all who e-mailed in to Guitar World in disgust, especially to Matt O'Donnell, someone who I have never met but obviously has been touched with my music. He felt so compelled to stand up for me and write a letter to Guitar World about the exclusion of my name on their list of the 100 best guitarists. To him an extra special thanks to a true fan and friend whose courage to speak up will not go unnoticed by me or my band."

RESPONSE NEGATIVE recently completed a five-song EP at Studio 13 with producer Jeremy Staska. Mastering duties were handled by Mike Fuller.
