REQUIEM Preparing To Enter Studio

Swiss death metallers REQUIEM will enter Stage One studio in Buehne/Borgentreich, Germany December 6 with acclaimed producer Andy Classen (LEGION OF THE DAMNED, DEW-SCENTED, DISBELIEF, KRISIUN and many more) to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Infiltrate... Obliterate... Dominate", titled "Within Darkened Disorder". The band states, "The songwriting process is finally finished. We are all looking forward to record this new 'monolith' with our well-known producer Andy Classen and the new lineup." The CD will be released in early 2011 via an as-yet-undisclosed German label.

The cover artwork was created by Dan Seagrave (MORBID ANGEL, MALEVOLENT CREATION, SUFFOCATION, PESTILENCE, BENEDICTION and many more).

Vocalist Michi Kuster left REQUIEM in February this year "due to family reasons." The band has since decided to carry on with a new line-up.

"Infiltrate... Obliterate... Dominate" was released in July 2009 via Twilight Vertrieb after releasing two albums in 2006 and 2007 via Massacre Records.
