REPVBLIKA Confirmed For Mexico City's HEAVY METAL CIRCUS FEST

July 8, 2007

REPVBLIKA, one of the most promising extreme metal bands to emerge from Mexico, will perform at the Heavy Metal Circus Fest on Saturday, August 18 in Mexico City, Mexico. Also scheduled to appear are SINISTER, INCANTATION, GRAVE and DISMEMBER. Aside from live performances, the two-day festival (August 17-18),which is dedicated to black and death metal, will include press conferences, photographic exhibitions and a variety of other metal-related activities. Friday, August 17 is set to feature black metal, whilst Saturday, August 18 will concentrate on death metal.

REPVBLIKA recently entered the studio to record three new songs for inclusion on the forthcoming "Katastrof" album. The decision to record additional material was taken after the group recently saw its fan base growing significantly and decided that it would be more appropriate to release a full-length album. REPVBLIKA also plans to start shooting a new video for "Ignition" during July.
