Danish modern metallers RAUNCHY have issued the following update:"With the last show for 2009 being played in Pumpehuset [in Copenhagen, Denmark], we now return to the rehearsal room in order to focus 100% on the fifth album which will see the light of day around June 2010. We will enter Jacob Hansen's studio [in Ribe, Denmark] (once again) in February so we will be working hard to be as prepared as possible. We will try to upload some small video clips from time to time as there might be some hungry 'RAUNCHY-heads' out there who want to see some action from our pre-production." "Warriors", the latest video from RAUNCHY, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in February with award-winning director Andreas Krohn and his crew. The band said, "Since we hadn't done any official music video since the 'Watch Out' video years ago [from 2004's 'Confusion Bay' album], we wanted to make something really cool with the band playing but with a storyline attached to it." "Warriors" comes off RAUNCHY's latest masterpiece, "Wasteland Discotheque", was released on June 30, 2008 in Europe and July 7, 2008 in the U.S. via Lifeforce Records. The Danish band split with Nuclear Blast Records in January 2005 after releasing two albums through the label (2002's "Velvet Noise" and 2004's "Confusion Bay").
