RANDY COVEN, JOHN MACALUSO, MARCO SFOGLI Complete Work On 'Heroes Temporis' Metal Opera

February 26, 2006

Bassist Randy Coven (ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) recently teamed up with drummer John Macaluso (TNT, ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JAMES LABRIE, STARBREAKER) and guitarist Marco Sfogli (JAMES LABRIE) to record a new metal opera project entitled "Heroes Temporis". The recordings took place at Splash studios in Naples, Italy between February 14 and February 23 and saw the musicians accompanied by a 27-piece orchestra.

Commented Sfogli: "'Heroes Temporis' recordings are done. It will be a very solid and heavy album. It's been an honor to me to record with the help of engineers Massimo Aluzzi, Marco Streccioni and Federico Federici, with Giacomo Simonelli as orchestra director and together with John Macaluso and Randy Coven."
