RANDY COVEN, BOBBY RONDINELLI To Hold Rhythm Section Summit In Dix Hills

Bassist Randy Coven (ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and drummer Bobby Rondinelli (BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT) will hold a rhythm section summit at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York on Friday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m. Special guest will be guitarist Teddy Rondinelli (CARMINE APPICE BAND).

Coven last year teamed up with drummer John Macaluso (TNT, ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, JAMES LABRIE, STARBREAKER) and guitarist Marco Sfogli (JAMES LABRIE) to record a new metal opera project entitled "Heroes Temporis". The recordings took place at Splash studios in Naples, Italy in February 2006 and saw the musicians accompanied by a 27-piece orchestra.
