RAMMER: Canadian Tour Dates Announced

April 19, 2006

Toronto thrash metal quintet RAMMER has confirmed the following select shows in Southern Ontario in support of their recently released debut album "Cancer" (Blue Fog Recordings):

May 05 - Guelph, ON @ The Shadow
May 06 - London, ON @ Call The Office
May 11 - Hamilton, ON @ The Underground
Jun. 06 - Oshawa, ON @ The Dungeon
Sep. 23 - Toronto, ON @ Opera House (Day of the Equinox)

RAMMER's "Cancer" features "eleven songs of utterly original and unchained thrash metal insanity," merging "the old-school mentality and over-the-top approach of such old masters as KREATOR, REPULSION and ARTILLERY with an overpoweringly distinct songwriting style."

Formed in 1999, RAMMER was launched as an answer to the stagnation and endless repetition that infests the world of heavy music. In an effort to create something that was original and still heavy sounding, RAMMER recorded both the "Krusher" and "Incinerator" EPs, both of which would later be released on Ohio's Shifty Records. RAMMER's gradual progression to a more razor sharp thrash sound was further defined on 2001's "Suffer" 12" on Slasher Records. The hunt for the perfect mixture of relentless old school attitude and creative song craft finally resulted in "Cancer" and has witnessed the full maturity and devastating sonic finesse of the quintet.
