RAGNAROK Cancel Dates In Russia, Norway

May 21, 2004

Norwegian black metallers RAGNAROK have been forced to cancel their previously announced concerts in Moscow, Russia (May 27) and Fredrikstad, Norway (May 29) "because of circumstances which we can't go further into at this time.," according to a posting on the group's web site. "The band is very sorry about this and hope that the fans will understand."

RAGNAROK released their fifth album, "Blackdoor Miracle", in February through Sweden's Regain Records. The follow-up to 2002's "In Nomine Satanas" is the grup's first to feature "demonic" singer Hoest (TAAKE) (photo#1, photo#2, photo#3),who replaced Lord Arcamous last year. "Blackdoor Miracle" was recorded and mixed at Abyss Studio in Sweden with engineer/mixer Tommy Tägtgren and was mastered at The Mastering Room in Gothenburg, Sweden.
