RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's 'Sleep Now In The Fire' Covered By WILSON (Audio)

November 15, 2016

Detroit rock band WILSON has just released its cover of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's "Sleep Now In The Fire". The relatable track was made available in light of the recent presidential election and current political tone. Also released was WILSON's cover of NAZARETH's "Hair Of The Dog", which many of their fans have enjoyed as part of WILSON's live set.

WILSON frontman Chad Nicefield explains: "RAGE was a pivotal musical influence of ours as we were growing up. The ferocity their music created in us carries on well into our adulthood. Today they are just as relevant as they were years ago.

"America needs a wake-up call, once again. We, as a culture of humans on this planet, need a heavy dose of humanity.

"In these trying times, it is important to us not only as a band but as humans that we find light in this darkness. Together as one. Wake up and rage with us!"

WILSON has been touring nonstop in support of last year's sophomore release "Right To Rise". The band has shared the stage with HALESTORM, NOTHING MORE, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, WE CAME AS ROMANS, TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION and MEGADETH, hitting all the major rock festivals along the way. The rockers will finish the year on the road supporting STEEL PANTHER.

WILSON is Chad Nicefield (vocals),Jason Spencer (guitar),Kyle Landry (guitar),James Lascu (bass) and Matt Puhy (drums).
