Less than a month after announcing the addition of guitarist Tracii Guns (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, ex-L.A. GUNS) to the group's ranks, QUIET RIOT have issued a statement confirming that Guns will, in fact, no longer be a member of the band. The statement reads as follows:"Although we all had high hopes and the best intentions for the success of our association, it became evident collective that the musical diversity of styles would not work to our mutual satisfaction. Rather than go into the recording studio unsure of the outcome, QUIET RIOT and Tracii Guns have decided to amicably part company but remain friends and hold each other in the highest respect. "QUIET RIOT will still enter the studio in late January to record new songs for the next studio release, the first new material from the band since the release of 'Guilty Pleasures' in 2001. "Look for QUIET RIOT on tour upon completion of the new recordings."
