May 9, 2002

QUEENSRCHE will issue a DVD-Audio version of their Empire opus on July 30th through EMI. This very special edition will include a brand new, never-before-seen interview with vocalist Geoff Tate and former guitarist Chris DeGarmo, which took place in March of 2002, videos for "Jet City Woman" and "Silent Lucidity", complete lyrics in synch with the music, biography and discography.

About DVD-Audio:
DVD-Audio discs offer advanced resolution stereo and 5.1 surround tracks with unprecedented clarity and dynamic range. Utilizing 96 kHz sampling rates and 24 bit recording methods, advanced resolution digital audio provides the equivalent playback fidelity of an original master tape. This album was mixed and mastered specifically for DVD-Audio from the original multi-track master tapes and faithfully recreates the control room mixing experience. In addition, this disc includes video menu screens that enable you to access special bonus features.

DVD-Video Compatible:
EMI DVD-Audio discs include the surround listening experience in Dolby Digital 5.1 format compatible on all DVD players displaying the DVD-Video logo. In addition, a DTS Digital 5.1 track is included for DVD-Video players and playback systems supporting DTS decoders.
