QUEENSRCHE Singer's Acoustic Performance From Wine-Tasting Event (Video)

December 2, 2011

On October 25, Julio's Liquors and Geoff Tate of QUEENSRCHE in association with Ernie Bach, Jr.'s charity Music Drives Us hosted a Geoff Tate Insania acoustical event in Westborough, Massachusetts . Geoff Tate was at Julio's for a tasting/signing, and also added a short acoustic set at the end of his appearance. Julio's was pre-selling gift sets of Insania Red and White online with portions of the proceeds going to Music Drives Us. Purchase of these gift sets gained fans access to the special private acoustic performance after the bottle signing and tasting.

Video footage of Tate's acoustic performance at Julio's (joined by QUEENSRCHE guitarist Parker Lundgren) can be seen below.

Insania (a Latin word meaning insanity, irrationality, madness) has become a labor of love for Tate, who remains deeply involved with its development and looks forward to further collaborations with Three Rivers Winery in the future.

"Wine has been an important part of my life and the creation of Insania is yet another avenue to express my creativity and give my fans something more they can enjoy," stated Geoff. "I hope to keep producing wine as long as I enjoy drinking it and that's likely going to be for a very long time."

QUEENSRCHE's new album, "Dedicated To Chaos", was released on June 28 in North America via Loud & Proud Records, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists.
