QUEENSRCHE have finished writing the music for the first four songs for their forthcoming studio album, which is tentatively due to surface in late 2002 or early 2003 through Sanctuary/Metal-Is Records. According to the group's official web site, the material penned so far is shaping up to be some of the most heaviest of QUEENSRCHE songs ever written. In related news, vocalist Geoff Tate is set to begin mixing his as-yet-untitled debut solo album on February 11th.
