QUEENSRŸCHE's MICHAEL WILTON: Hanging Out With ALICE COOPER And MEATLOAF Was Dream For Me

May 10, 2002

QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton recently had the following to say about his participation in Fairway to Heaven '02, which was aired via VH1 last week: "I had a great time at the VH1 golf tournament. Though my team did not have a great day golfing we had a blast tearing up the course. The day before the event I got to play a round of golf with MEATLOAF, ALICE COOPER and his son. Those guys were great to hang out with. They told me stories that I will cherish. It was like being in a dream for me. The nights were a blur. VH1 wined and dinned us down on South Beach. I made a lot of new friends, experienced Miami, got a tan all in 48 hours. I think it was 38 degrees when I got back to Seattle. The next day it snowed. I put away my golf clubs and went skiing. I had to hit the bumps one last time."
