QUEENSRŸCHE Frontman To Guest On ALICE COOPER's Radio Show

QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate will be Alice Cooper's special guest on Cooper's radio show "Nights with Alice Cooper" airing on Tuesday, May 2. The program is a classic-rock format and is nationally syndicated on the United Stations Radio Networks. Air times differ, so make sure to check out NightsWithAliceCooper.com for more information.

As previously reported, QUEENSRŸCHE's current record label, Rhino Records, has purchased the rights to the group's 1999 effort, "Q2K", from Atlantic and plans on re-releasing it soon. Limited-edition signed copies and a free "Q2K" cap will be included in the new package. More information will be made available soon.

QUEENSRŸCHE's latest CD, "Operation: Mindcrime II", has sold 66,000 copies in the United States in the first three weeks of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

QUEENSRŸCHE's top-selling album by far is 1990's "Empire", which was certified triple-platinum in October 1994 for sales in excess of three million copies in the United States. The original "Operation: Mindcrime" release (1988) attained platinum status in August 1991, while 1994's "Promised Land" reached the same plateau in December 1994.
