QUEENSRŸCHE Frontman Speaks Out On VH1 Fairway To Heaven Event

March 17, 2002

QUEENSRŸCHE frontman Geoff Tate posted the following message in the forum section of his official web site: “This past weekend, [wife] Susan and I traveled to Florida for the VH1Fairway to Heaven event where my team tied for 2nd [place]! I had the honor to play with Pat Perez, who is an amazing player and the consummate gentleman. Thanks for the tips, Pat. Quite a weekend spent talking biz and music with Tommy Lee and Sebastian Bach. Bach is a mad man! Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf (incredible singer) entertained our partying group with side-splitting stories of the 70s and 80s scene. Gave golf tips to Clarence Clemmons...he was better off with out me. Had to duck several times to miss being hit in the head by a very animated Judd Nelson. All in all, a whirlwind weekend. We will be posting an air date as soon as we get one.”
