PSYCHOTRON Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement

German power/thrash band PSYCHOTRON have parted ways with drummer and founding member Gert Kopf due to "personal reasons," according to a press release. "The band want to thank him for his work in the past 11 years and wish him all the best for his future. PSYCHOTRON is looking for a new drummer who can fill the vacant slot. Interested people can contact the band at [email protected]"

PSYCHOTRON's third album, "Pray for Salvation", was recently released through Greece's Sleaszy Rider Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Open the Gate" was recorded at Decode studios and was mixed and mastered by R.D. Liapakis (MYSTIC PROPHECY). Audio samples of the tracks "At the Graves" and "Traitor" are available at the group's official web site.
