Producer ROSS ROBINSON Signs THE CURE To Three-Album Deal
Producer Ross Robinson (LIMP BIZKIT, KORN, SLIPKNOT) has officially signed THE CURE to a three-album deal with his ARTISTdirect Records imprint, I AM. The band and Robinson are expected to begin work in London in July on a new album.
"THE CURE has been my favorite band for years and years," Robinson said in a statement. "They were instrumental in my approach to production. It was THE CURE that opened me up to a more sensitive, heartfelt type of music, and I've been extremely loyal to that feeling in every project I've done since then."
THE CURE's last album, 2000's "Bloodflowers", was released through Elektra Records in the U.S., where it has sold 285,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
