Producer CHARLIE BAUERFEIND Launches Web Site, Offers Updates On PRIMAL FEAR, HAMMERFALL

November 24, 2004

Acclaimed German producer/engineer Charlie Bauerfeind (HELLOWEEN, SAXON, HAMMERFALL, RAGE, BLIND GUARDIAN) has launched his official web site at this location. A posting on the site from Charlie regarding the upcoming PRIMAL FEAR and HAMMERFALL albums reads on the follows:

"I will be working on the recordings of the next PRIMAL FEAR album in April/beginning of May 2005 (right up to the start of the next BLIND GUARDIAN production). The mix of the album will be handled by a yet undisclosed producer/engineer overseas or somewhere else in Europe, in June 2005.

"I'm really exited about this plannings, as it will, after over 10 years, bring me back to work again with one of Germany's finest and most oustanding metal voices ever, Ralf Scheepers. Also it will give me the chance to work for the first time with bassist, vocalist and producer veteran, Mat Sinner.

"Be assured, I will give (as always) my very best, to make this album as seriously ass-kicking as you metal fans out there deserve.

"The HAMMERFALL production is close to be finished. I'll put some final touches to the 5.1 mixes of the album in the next two days. The masters for the stereo mixes are on their way to Nuclear Blast. I feel really great about the outcome of this album. We managed to broaden the stylistic range of HAMMERFALL a little bit without losing the unique, classic approach of the guys. Some great stuff to look forward to for the fans."
