POWERMAN 5000 Singer Re-Launches Label With Collection Of Rarities

July 19, 2004

POWERMAN 5000 frontman Spider One has re-launched his Megatronic Records label with the release of POWERMAN's "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Volume 1".

"We scoured the vaults and dusted off some real gems from the early days of PM5K," reads a posting on the label's web site. "Some live, some previously unreleased, all rare and all definitely classic POWERMAN 5000. Recorded before signing with DreamWorks, this tells the tale of a band that roamed the streets of Boston, broke and hungry, playing midnight shows at the beer-and-puke soaked Ratskeller club in famous Kenmore Square. From the very first recordings to tracks laid down right before blasting on to the national scene, this is a disc you need to check out."
