POWER QUEST To Introduce New Singer At London Gig

August 25, 2009

U.K. metallers POWER QUEST will support former NIGHTWISH singer Tarja Turunen on October 19 at O2 Academy Islington, London, England. This will be POWER QUEST's first show with the band's as-yet-to-be-announced new frontman and rhythm guitarist.

Commented keyboardist Steve Williams: "We are looking forward to introduce our new lineup in London and are planning two warm up shows beforehand, one of which will be in Southampton on October 18. Also, there is more news that we will be revealing very shortly."

On September 26, POWER QUEST will share the stage with PRIMAL FEAR, BRAINSTORM and CIRCUS MAXIMUS, among others, at Metalfest in Dudley, U.K. This will be the last show featuring singer Alessio Garavello.

POWER QUEST's latest album, "Master of Illusion", was released last year via Napalm Records/Avalon Marquee (Japan). Guest musicians on the CD include keyboardist Richard West from the U.K. progressive metal band THRESHOLD, Jorn Viggo Lofstad from the Norwegian power metal act PAGAN'S MIND and FOURWAYKILL singer Chris Neighbour.
