POWDERBURN To Open For SLAYER In San Antonio

November 30, 2004

The Jägermeister Music Tour, headlined by metal icons SLAYER, will be hitting San Antonio's Sunset Station this Friday, December 3. Sharing the stage with SLAYER will be Austin's self-proclaimed No. 1 heavy metal artist, POWDERBURN. Sponsored by Jägermeister, one of the world's leading premium spirit brands, POWDERBURN will also be joining KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and MASTODON, who are featured in this fall’s edition of the Jägermeister Music Tour. "It still hasn't really set in yet," stated POWDERBURN guitarist/lead vocalist Ken Lockman. "There's a few bands you dream about playing with, and SLAYER is definitely one of them."

Based in Austin, Texas, POWDERBURN obtained a full Jägermeister sponsorship earlier this year — one of only seven artists in Texas with this coveted support. Other Texas dates in the Jägermeister Music Tour include Dallas, Houston and Corpus Christi. Tickets at Sunset Station are $25.50 in advance and $27 day of show, with ALL AGES welcome. For more information, and how to purchase tickets online, visit POWDERBURN's official website at www.powderburn.net.
