POISONBLACK: Finnish "Supergroup" To Issue Debut In Late 2002

Finland's POISONBLACK (formerly SHADOWLANDS), who feature in their ranks SENTENCED vocalist Ville Laihiala on guitar, and CHARON frontman Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto, are tentatively due to record their debut album before the end of the summer for a late 2002 release through Century Media Records. Completed by bassist Janne Kukkonen, guitarist Janne Dahlgren and drummer Tarmo Kanerva, POISONBLACK have thus far demoed an album's worth of material, boasting a musical direction that can best be described as a cross between SENTENCED and H.I.M.
