PITTS VS. PREPS To Mix New Record In May

April 29, 2005

PITTS VS. PREPS, the Louisiana-based band featuring former EXHORDER frontman Kyle Thomas, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We are mixing the record in the middle of May for an early July release. Due to Jason and Scott traveling so much, there have not been many gigs lately. May 28th the PITTS play the Lounge Lizard with THE EGG YOLK JUBILEE MUSIC BAND. They are old friends of the PITTS so that will be a kick in the ass.

"The PITTS are saddened by the death of TROUBLE drummer Barry Stern. We loved his work and he was a good podnuh of Kyle's. Our support goes out to his friends and family.

"See you in late May."

Thomas had previously said about PITTS VS. PREPS' musical direction, "This is my only current project and it is centered around the truest sound of heavy metal in the realm of old JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN. Check it out if you can, it's always a good party when we hit the stage."
