Punishment 18 Records' latest signing, UK thrashers PITIFUL REIGN, are about to go into the studio to record their debut album. Scheduled for release in the early part of this year, "Visual Violence" will feature artwork created by Ed Repka (MEGADETH, DEATH, MUNICIPAL WASTE) and will be engineered and produced by Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, DEATH, TESTAMENT, ICED EARTH) and Juan Urteaga (VILE, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, SADUS).

Commented PITIFUL REIGN's Nev Britton: "To have our debut release engineered by two of our heroes is a great honor. We have already met up with Steve on a recent trip to Milan and we cannot wait to begin working with them both."

"Visual Violence" will be released on Punishment 18 Records in April 2008.
