Photos Of DAVID WAYNE Requested For Online Tribute

May 12, 2005

DAVID WAYNE'S METAL CHURCH webmaster Brian has posted the following message on the METAL CHURCH discussion board:

"We truly appreciate the outpouring of support. It is quite apparent that David is still remembered when the name METAL CHURCH is uttered.

"I would like to create a tribute in honor of David Wayne on our website (yes, the METAL CHURCH webmistress and I have personally spoken about this) in a photo montage of him with friends, family, bandmates, etc.

"I have also recieved several very touching emails about experiences with David Wayne as a regular person and not the 'GodFather of Metal.' We will post these as well.

"Send what you have to the below email address. If you have photos that are not digital but would like to submit them, please email me and we can work something out.

"Again, tonight was practice night for [David Wayne] and his band. For those of you that didn't know, [David Wayne]'s band lives in San Antonio, Texas,(he was planning on moving here) where they have exploited the abilities of the 'Speaker Phone.' The scratchy voice was missed...and all remembered their brother.
