PAUL DI'ANNO Live In Redondo Beach; Video Available

February 26, 2010

Fan-filmed video footage of former IRON MAIDEN singer Paul Di'Anno's February 17, 2010 concert at Brixton in Redondo Beach, California can be viewed below (courtesy of "URturn2njoy").

Di'Anno kicked off his U.S. tour on January 26 at Dingbatz in Clifton, New Jersey.

Support on the trek is coming from Pittsburgh traditional metallers ICARUS WITCH (who are also serving as Di'Anno's backing band for the tour).

Di'Anno's visa was approved by the U.S. State Department, making it possible for the singer to embark on his first U.S. tour in over 15 years.

When asked by Vue Weekly in a 2009 interview about the possibility of releasing a new studio album in the not-too-distant future, Di'Anno replied, "We did five new tracks in Germany [in 2008] — it's very industrialized — but we got in a bit of an argument with the record company and we told them to piss off, basically. So I kept them songs and a friend of mine in Salisbury down in Southwest England, handed me 16 pieces of music so I'm going to go away when I have a bit of time and see what I can come up with for that."
