PARKWAY DRIVE Receives ARIA AWARD For 'Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album'
PARKWAY DRIVE was honored in the "Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album" category at the 2010 ARIA Awards (an annual awards night celebrating the Australian music industry, put on by the Australian Record Industry Association [ARIA]).
The ARIA Awards took place earlier tonight (Sunday, November 7) at the Sydney Opera House and was broadcast on Australia's MTV and Network Ten.
"Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album" nominees were as follows:
* AIRBOURNE - "No Guts, No Glory" (EMI)
* DEAD LETTER CIRCUS - "This is the Warning" (Warner Music Australia)
* PARKWAY DRIVE - "Deep Blue" (Resist Records/Shock)
* THE AMITY AFFLICTION - "Youngbloods" (Boomtown/Shock)
* VIOLENT SOHO - "Violent Soho" (Liberation Music)
