PARAGON Parts Ways With Bassist

German power metallers PARAGON have parted ways with bassist Jan Bünning due to "musical differences." "We will soon present an adequate replacement who will take on the live promotion of the forthcoming CD, 'Forgotten Prophecies'," the band writes in a statement.

Due at the end of May, "Forgotten Prophecies" features "10 slices of hard metal plus a raging cover of OVERKILL's 'Deny the Cross'."

PARAGON's latest album, "Revenge", was released in the U.S. in April 2005 via Magick Records. The CD was the follow-up to "The Dark Legacy", which was released in 2003 by Remedy.
