PARADOX Looking For New Singer, Guitarist

May 3, 2002

Veteran German power metallers PARADOX have been forced to cancel their scheduled appearance at the Bang Your Head festival after frontman Charly Steinhauer's voice was “damaged due to sickness”, according to the group's official web site. Since the damage to his vocal cords is so severe, Charly will not be able to sing anymore and the band are currently on the lookout for a replacement vocalist (Steinhauer will focus solely on guitar playing). In other news, guitarist Kai Pasemann has decided to leave the group in order to focus all his attention on his job as an attorney at a law firm. The remaining members are hoping to find suitable musicians quickly and begin work on their next studio album, which is unlikely to surface before 2003.
