PARADISE LOST drummer Jeff Singer has posted another update to his ongoing "tour blog." An excerpt follows:"It is Tuesday and we are at a truck stop near Seattle. We left Minnesota on Sunday night and travelled literally all day Monday with a double driver to get to the coast, over 1600 miles. More about that later. "There was a horrific accident on the way into Detroit from Cleveland. A lorry had gone up an embankment and fallen on some cars. There was nothing left. It was raining and everywhere looked pretty grim. Detroit was rough, really rough. I guess it is just a run down city, home of the car industry in the U.S., but I certainly felt no need to run the gauntlet and do any sight seeing whatsoever. In fact, the furthest I walked all day was to the gig or to the front to grab a photo. But, interesting venue. A massive cinema built in 1939 which must have been really impressive in its time." PARADISE LOST recently released the video for the song "Praise Lamented Shade", taken from the band's latest CD, "In Requiem", which was issued via Century Media Records in May 2007. The clip was filmed during PARADISE LOST's April 2007 show at Koko in London (a concert which was filemd for an upcoming DVD) and was directed by Dash Productions (who worked with people such as STEVEN SEAGAL, GARY NUMAN, LEVEL 42, PAUL RODGERS, RICK ASTLEY, HEAVEN 17, THE DAMNED, MARC ALMOND, DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS and many more). Watch fan-filmed video footage of PARADISE LOST performing the song "Never for the Damned" on October 21, 2007 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada:
