PARADISE LOST guitarist Gregor Mackintosh talked about his death metal band VALLENFYRE on this past Monday night's (October 31) edition of "Heady Metal With Jeff Olson", the Internet radio show hosted by original TROUBLE drummer and RETRO GRAVE mainman Jeff "Oly" Olson. You can listen to the chat in its entirety in two parts below.
VALLENFYRE's debut album, "A Fragile King", was released on October 31 in Europe and on November 1 in North America via Century Media Records.
* Gregor Mackintosh (PARADISE LOST) - Vocals and Lead Guitar * Hamish Glencross (MY DYING BRIDE) - Rhythm and Lead Guitar * Mully - Rhythm Guitar * Scoot (DOOM, EXTINCTION OF MANKIND) - Bass * Adrian Erlandsson (AT THE GATES, PARADISE LOST) - Drums
VALLENFYRE is not a one-off project but will continue as a band that will also play live in 2012.
"Heady Metal With Jeff Olson" is Olson's first radio show endeavor and features interviews with musicians from different metal genres across the board, interesting people from all walks of life, comedic segments, music news, and giveaways.
Olson has been writing and recording in the music industry since the formation of TROUBLE (1979) and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in film scoring, cum laude, from Berklee College Of Music.
