PANZERCHRIST Preparing To Enter Studio

September 5, 2009

Danish extreme metallers PANZERCHRIST are preparing to enter the studio to begin recording the drums for their new album, "Regiment Ragnarok".

Although it was previously reported that Morten Løwe Sørensen (SUBMISSION, THE ARCANE ORDER, SCARVE, INSTANT CARNAGE, STRANGLER, SCARVE, SOILWORK) would sit behind the kit for the new CD's recording sessions, the drum tracks will actually be laid down by Mads Lauridsen of the Danish metal act KONKHRA.

A full-length track that will not on appear on "Regiment Ragnarok" will be posted on PANZERCHRIST's MySpace page shortly following the completion of the new album.

PANZERCHRIST previously stated that the band's new CD would be "true to the brutal black/death style" the group is known for.

PANZERCHRIST recording lineup:

Michael Enevoldsen: Bass
Johnny Pump: Vocals
Rasmus Henriksen: Guitar
Lasse Bak: Keyboards/Bass
Mads Lauridsen: Drums

PANZERCHRIST's last full-length album, "Battalion Beast", was released in August 2006 via Neurotic Records. The band recorded the drums, guitars and bass for "Battalion Beast" at Smart N' Hard studio with Jacob Bredahl (HATESPHERE) during February/March 2006. Vocals and keyboard were recorded by Ziggy at Zigsound. The latter was also responsible for mixing and mastering the album.
