P.O.D. Looking Forward To Playing With STAIND Again

November 9, 2005

Launch Radio Networks reports: STAIND, TAPROOT and FLYLEAF kicked off the Fall Brawl tour last night (Tuesday, November 8) in Seattle, Washington, and they'll be joined by P.O.D. on Friday (November 11) in San Jose, California for the rest of the tour. P.O.D. drummer Wuv told Launch that the trek gives his band a chance to reunite with old friends. "We actually got a chance to tour with STAIND back in the day when we were all coming up," he said. "We did the MTV Return Of The Rock tour, I think that was, like, in 2000 or something like that, so it's been a while since we cliqued up together. But all is well and we're friends, you know what I mean, so it's gonna be a good time regardless."

The Fall Brawl runs through December 18, where it finishes up in Ontario,
Canada.

P.O.D. will release a seven-track EP called "The Warriors EP Vol. 2" on November 15. The disc will serve as an appetizer to the band's upcoming new album, "Testify", which is due out in January. A single from "Testify", called "Goodbye for Now", will arrive at radio stations by the middle of this month.

"Testify" will follow up the San Diego-based band's 2003 effort, "Payable on Death".
