OZZY OSBOURNE: 'Rockline' Appearance Available For Streaming

June 1, 2007

Ozzy Osbourne appeared on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn Monday, May 28. It was rebroadcast on Wednesday, May 30. The program, which was pre-taped on May 18, is now available for streaming at this location.

Osbourne's "Black Rain" CD sold 152,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart. This number is in line with the 153,000 first-week tally registered by 2001's "Down to Earth", which entered the Billboard chart at No. 4.

Ozzy Osbourne's first studio album of all-new material in six years, "Black Rain", was reportedly the first album Ozzy wrote and recorded while completely clean and sober.

The singer will headline this summer's "free" Ozzfest, beginning on July 12 in Seattle.

Fans who purchase specially marked copies of "Black Rain" will have a first shot at scoring Ozzfest tickets via a code included with the album.

Osbourne will be the first person inducted into the new Birmingham Walk of Stars, which will honor the British city's most famous sons and daughters. Osbourne's induction ceremony will be held on July 6.
