OZZY OSBOURNE Records Vocals For New BLACK LABEL SOCIETY CD!

January 13, 2003

OZZY OSBOURNE has recorded a guest lead vocal appearance on the upcoming BLACK LABEL SOCIETY CD, "The Blessed Hellride", due in April via Spitfire Records.

Osbourne was reportedly followed by MTV cameras and crew last Thursday (Jan. 9) as he came down to BLS's recording studio and laid down his vocals on a track entitled "Stillborn".

The album's first single, which is currently being edited and mixed, is said to be extremely radio-friendly — so much so that it prompted Ozzy to tell the guitarist, "If this is not a hit record, you should just pack up and quit!". Ozzy is also said to have listened to the entire album and told Zakk, "You are going to rule the world!"

In related news, Zakk, as well as many other musicians, including PANTERA, METALLICA, and KISS, are being inducted into the first Hard Rock museum in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, Jan. 16. Zakk will have a vest, guitar and the Guitar World magazine with he and Ozzy on the cover encased and displayed.
