OZZY OSBOURNE Had To Be Hospitalized After Getting Vitamin Tablet Stuck In His Lung

According to HuffPostUK, Ozzy Osbourne got a vitamin tablet stuck in his lung and had to be hospitalized to get it removed. The incident happened while he and son Jack were filming thier new reality show called "Ozzy And Jack's World Detour". The series airs on Sundays on the History channel and features the duo traveling the world together, exploring the history behind some of the planet's most storied sites, while checking out some lesser-known locations along the way.

The BLACK SABBATH singer was lying down when he took the vitamins, which caused the problem.

Jack tells HuffPostUK: "He was lying down on the couch, took a handful of vitamins, and then he coughed. The pill shot into his lung, and we had to get him into hospital to get it removed. It was a bit of a shock."

Wondering if science could explain how he survived his 40-year avalanche of drugs and alcohol, Ozzy in 2010 became one of a handful of people in the world to have his entire DNA mapped. It was a highly complex, $65,000 process, but the results were conclusive: Ozzy is a genetic anomaly. The newpaper argued that Ozzy's mutliple near-death experiences, 40-year history of drug abuse, and extreme hypocondria qualified him more than any other for the job. The column was an overnight hit, being quickly picked up by Rolling Stone to give it a global audience of millions.

Ozzy is in the midst of a year-long farewell tour with SABBATH and has also reportedly been working on a new solo album.
