OVERMASTER, the band formed by ex-WHITE SKULL singer Gus Gabarro, has inked a deal with Cruz Del Sur Music for the release of the group's debut album. OVERMASTER will enter Fear Studio in Ravenna, Italy in September to begin recording the CD, tentatively due in early 2010.

According to a press release, OVERMASTER is an Italian "power metal all-star band" of sorts, featuring Gabarro alongside Carlos (ex-SKYLARK, AMETHISTA, H-GEORGE) on drums, Alessio Berlaffa (DOOMSWORD) and Pino Sicari (ex-WHITE SKULL) on guitar and Dimitri Oldani (ex-EDGE OF FOREVER) on bass. The group's music "follows the guidelines of traditional German heavy metal, supported by the unique boost and energy of Gus' vocals."
