OUTBURST Sign To BLACK LOTUS RECORDS

April 3, 2006

Dutch metallers OUTBURST — who are said to be musically similar to such acts as SHADOWS FALL, THE HAUNTED, TESTAMENT, CARCASS and EXODUS — have inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records. The group's debut album, "Fair and Balanced", is scheduled for release in June.

"Fair and Balanced" was recorded at Double Noise studio in Tilburg, Holland with producer Jochem Jacobs (TEXTURES, HIDING WITH GIRL). The CD will feature two guest appearances: TEXTURES vocalist Eric Kalsbeek can be heard on "Attack of the Overfiend" and CEPHALIC CARNAGE frontman Leonard Leal unleashed his grunts on "What the Eyes See".
