OTEP: Audio Interview With Bassist EVIL J Available

An audio interview with OTEP bassist Jason "Evil J" McGuire, conducted recently by HeavyMetalSource.com, has been made available for download at this location. During the interview Evil J talks how the band has worked out a split with Capitol Records and is shopping around for a new label.

OTEP recently posted another new track, entitled "March of the Martyrs", on its MySpace page. The song comes off the group's long-awaited third full-length album, "The Ascension", due later in the year. The CD was recorded in New Orleans over the course of several months with Grammy-winning producer Dave Fortman (EVANESCENCE, MUDVAYNE).

OTEP recently parted ways with guitarist Karma Cheema (ex-AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE) and replaced him with Aaron Nordstrom.
