Original TROUBLE Members Share Stage For The First Time Since 1986; Video Available

June 26, 2011

Original TROUBLE members, vocalist Eric Wagner, drummer Jeff "Oly" Olson and bassist Sean McAllister shared the stage for the first time since 1986 during Olson's RETRO GRAVE set on June 18 at the Days Of The Doomed Fest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Video footage of Wagner, Olson and McAllister performing the song "Victim Of The Insane", which was written by Olson for TROUBLE's full-length debut "Psalm 9" (1984),can be viewed below.

In other news, Olson will celebrate the one-year anniversary this July of his Internet radio show "Heady Metal With Jeff Olson". The show premiered on July 5, 2010 via Metal Messiah Radio with Dave Chandler (SAINT VITUS) as Olson's first guest.

Commented Olson: "It's been one year already that the 'Heady Metal' show has been on Internet radio. I chose to do this radio show, because I want to interview artists that rock hard as well as support the many genres of underground heavy metal and hard rock music that don't get enough publicity, or no publicity at all, through mainstream radio.

When is the last time you have heard bands like BLOTTED SCIENCE, HARVEY MILK, DISEMBOWELMENT, AUTOPSY, GNAW, KAYO DOT, or LAS CRUCES on mainstream radio? Never. This is why I do this show. I'm not saying that mainstream rock artists are not interviewed on my show, because they are. I interview musicians that jam their asses off no matter what the genre. They all have something deep to say. That's why the show is called 'Heady Metal'.

"I select my favorite people in the rock world to interview. There are no producers or engineers and all the editing is done on my own.

"I'm not a professional DJ. I'm a musician that enjoys conversations with other musicians that are talented and interesting.

"So, for those listening to the show for the first time and those who have been regularly logging in... thank you. I hope that my show will influence listeners for the next slamming generation to come... Cheers to another great year of 'Heady' music."

Upcoming guests on "Heady Metal With Jeff Olson":

June 27 - Aaron Stainthorpe (MY DYING BRIDE)
July 4 - Lizzy Borden (LIZZY BORDEN)
July 11 - DJ Ashba (GUNS N' ROSES, SIXX: A.M.)
