ORIANTHI: 'Heaven In This Hell' Video Released

June 21, 2013

"Heaven In This Hell", the new video from the Australian guitar sensation Orianthi, can be seen below. The song is title track of her current album, which came out in March via Robo Records. Her ALICE COOPER bandmates Glen Sobel (drums) and Tommy Henriksen (guitar) join her in the video.

Orianthi has booked shows on off-days during the current ALICE COOPER 2013 tour. Dates confirmed so far are July 17 in New York City at The Studio at Webster Hall as well as London's famed 100 Club on August 7. Her band for these shows will consist of Sobel on drums and Cooper band bassist Chuck Garric. It was this trio that played with Orianthi on her solo shows in Japan last month just before the start of the ALICE COOPER North American "Masters Of Madness" summer tour with MARILYN MANSON.

From writing her first song at the age of 6, to being discovered and playing alongside her idols Carlos Santana and Steve Vai early in her career, Orianthi has made an enduring mark on the music industry. While many were introduced to this timid guitar goddess when she played the Grammy Awards in 2009 as part of Carrie Underwood's band, it was being selected for Michael Jackson's ill-fated "This Is It Tour" that exposed her to mainstream audiences. In the fall of 2009, Orianthi released "According To You", her first solo single, which went platinum in the U.S. and abroad. More than just a gifted guitarist, this success showed she had serious vocal chops as well.
